Summertime And Legal Online Casino Gambling - The Best Online Casino Guide Blog
Well friends, we are now well into June, 2010 and summer will be here any day. Of course, summer means lots of time out of doors enjoying the weather and spending time with the kids. However, most all of us still have time left over to enjoy our online casino gambling sessions. Hopefully, readers of the http://www.thebestcasinoguide.com/ blog have put aside a little something extra just for the purpose of some summertime online gambling fun.
On the other hand, as we roll into summer and are some 18 months into the questionable benefits of an Obama White House, there is still virtually nothing being done on the legislative front to re-legalize online casino gambling. We know they are oh’ so busy trying to force amnesty for another 13 million illegal aliens down the throats of the citizens of the United States. As usual, just like with online casino gambling, our government simply refuses to listen to the voices of the vast majority of the voters who are opposed to amnesty but in support of legal online casino gambling. Why is our government willing to turn down 15 billion dollars a year in tax revenues and 35,000 to 50,000 new jobs from legal online gambling? No one knows but that’s what our government is doing.
Now, we don’t want to harp on this or annoy anyone but as we have said over and over, it is up to each and every one of us to start participating in the system if we want to make changes. If you are among the majority of Americans that supports legal online gambling and all the good it can do in this troubled economy, then you have to get out there and vote. Not only in national elections but state and local elections as well. You also need to be aware of who your elected officials are and start sending every one of them faxes and letters telling them that you want online gambling to be legal again. If we don’t participate in the system, the anti’s win. It is as simple as that.
There has has been some good news too. In Massachusetts, the State Legislature is working on a bill to add 4 more land-based casinos and 2 more race tracks in a tiny state that has quite a few already. To top it off, buried in the back of a very thick and wordy document was an amendment that would have made internet gambling a state crime punishable by up to 5 years in state prison. It is mind boggling to think they would try to criminalize internet gambling on a bill that legalizes more land-based casinos and race tracks but that is the kind of contempt our current elected officials have for the voters. Thankfully, the Poker Players Alliance was able to publicize the amendment and raise enough support to finally get the amendment removed from the bill. One can only wonder how many of the supporters of this nefarious attempt to throw internet gamblers in state prison are getting campaign donations from race tracks and land based casinos. We already know how many Members of the U.S. Congress, including our buddy Obama when he was a U.S. Senator, are getting donations from land- based casinos and race tracks.
The lack of ethics and morality in government is appalling. The same government that is trying to worm its way into every facet of our lives is so mired is deceit and dishonesty that it makes one want to scream in frustration. It is hard to tell if they just think we are fools or if they just don’t care what we think anymore. But we have the power to do something about it. So if you support legal online gambling and basic human freedom, start to participate fully in the electoral system and make your voice heard. No government has the right to impose its will on the majority of the people when the majority doesn’t agree with the government. That is tyranny and skeptics may think online gambling doesn’t really hold up against a word like “tyranny”. But if they can tell us where and when we can spend our own hard earned money then what is next? If we are not allowed to gamble online even though the vast majority of voters are in favor of legal online gambling what else will they make illegal. In the last 18 months the working people of America got a Stimulus Bill that was a payoff for big business. We got forced health insurance disguised as health care. They are trying to force amnesty for illegals down our throats in order to gain more votes for the party in power. It may start with online gambling but it wont end there. Its time to get out there and vote these characters out of office and elect people who really represent us. Its not too late. Participate!!
On a more positive note, there are many good and useful organizations out there that are on the side of legal online gambling and online gamblers. There are organizations like the PPA (Poker Players Alliance) and Right2Bet that advocate for legal online casino gambling. There are organizations like GameCare and Gamblers Anonymous that help problem gamblers. There are organizations Like eCORGA and iTech Labs that verify the honesty of online casinos, test their Random Number Generators and monitor the payout percentages of member online casinos games. There is an entire community of Portal websites and Forums run by the online gamblers in our community that do such a superb job telling us which online casinos are safe and which we should avoid. Our community is strong, it is diverse and it is effective. So don’t let yourself get discouraged. Make your voices heard and stand firm for Legal Online Casino Gambling.
